Form Processing
When you need a form on your site that will gather information from your visitors to be emailed to you it is important that you use a script that is secure. Mail form scripts are notorious for giving spammers the ability to bulk email using your domain. Earlier versions of Matt Wrights formmail script are well know by hackers/spammers and they have robot software scouring the internet for domains that have this vulnerability. Within only a few days 100's of spammers could have you on their list and 1,000's are being sent using your email server. 1,000's per minute, and this can eventually bring down your domain as well as tax bandwidth and server CPU. For this reason it is important that you use an updated secure email form processing script.
Matt Wright's formmail.cgi version 1.91 has been updated to address several vulnerabilities.
